The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is in the Middle East, it falls between the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea. The Kingdom is known to be the birthplace of Islam and is the home of Islam’s two holiest cities, Madinah, and Makkah where the pilgrims travel from all over the world each year to perform the Hajj. After a campaign that lasted for 30 years, the state of modern Saudi was formed, in the year of 1932. At that time, Saudi was divided into 13 provinces. Riyadh has since been the capital of the Kingdom.

Saudi’s economic power has always come from the production of oil and natural gas, however in recent years the country’s focus on diversification was seen to be the vision of the future. Saudi Arabia has one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world with a total estimated assists of $620 billion.
